Malpractice

A supervillain is an individual whose motivations, actions and code of ethics function outside the parameters of modern society, often in contrast to established law. Their actions are governed by personal self interest, the aquisition of wealth and power, or the furthering of an ideal which likewise runs counter to the moral structure of modern society. A supervillain differs from a normal, mundane villain in at least one of several key ways: They must possess a nifty supervillain costume, the more imposing in appearance the better, they possess greater physical characteristics than the average human being, they are proficient in any number degrees of learned skills or craftmanship that applies to their goals, be it mastery of science, the occult, gadgetry, etc., they possess superhuman capabilities outside the realms of normal humanity, they frequently engaging in boastful banter accompanied by haughty, malicious laughter (the latter is completely optional). For every good villain however, there must always be the perfect opposite. The single greatest threat to a supervillain's exploits is naturally - a superhero. These righteous do-gooders insist on foiling the efforts of their nefarious opponents and upending all of their efforts to subjugate humanity and any other goals which involve general naughtiness.
