Roy Thomas is an American comic book writer and editor born in Missouri on November 22nd, 1940. He was the editor-in-chief of Marvel Comics from 1972 to 1974 and was the first EIC to succeed company figurehead Stan Lee. He was succeeded in this position by Len Wein.
