Biography[]

Marlene McKenna was the wife of vampire hunter Frank Drake. She lived with Frank at the Weld Boathouse in Boston, Massachusetts. Marlene was an associate of Frank's colleagues at BorderLine Investigative Services, which was the civilian front for Frank's team of supernatural hunters, the Nightstalkers.

Marlene grew concerned over Frank's obsession with his work, particularly when she found his designs for necrotech weaponry. (NST: 11)

  • Marlene believed that Frank Drake had died in his battle against Varnae and is by all accounts a widow. In truth, Frank and Hannibal King partially merged with Varnae to form a new composite being known as Bloodstorm. (NST: 18)

Appearances[]

Marlene Drake was a regularly featured supporting character in the 1991-1992 Tomb of Dracula limited series. She appeared in all four issues. She then became a recurring character in the Nightstalkers series, beginning with issue #1. She also appeared in issues #2, #11, #12, #16 and #18.
