Transylvania wasn't built in a day...
...and neither was the Marvel Horror Wiki. This wiki is a collaborative encyclopedia/database exploring the dark, shadowy corners of the Marvel Universe. It includes information ranging on a wide variety of topics including characters, comic issues, locations and more!
About the Marvel Horror Wiki
The Marvel Universe is known for its population of brightly clad, colorful super-powered heroes and villains - people that could best be described as amazing, spectacular, incredible, fantastic, even... uncanny. They are men and women who put their lives on the line every day with no thought of personal gain to save the lives of the innocent and to punish the guilty. This is not about those people.
Beneath the blustering melange of capes, masks, boots, web-shooters and power armor lies the dark underbelly of the Marvel Universe - the side of the world that few ever talk about and even less would dare venture into. It is the world of the macabre, the strange and the bizarre. It is a seething cauldron of demons, vampires, werewolves, witches, zombies and things that will burn you at the first sign of fear. It is a world where normal, everyday people experience the unspeakable horrors that lie in wait around every shadowy corner. It is a world of contrasting horrors where even the most respected civilians can harbor grim agendas, but also one where even monsters can be heroes. It is the world of MARVEL HORROR.
Here you will find entries on all your favorite characters, creatures and comics relating to the more underappreciated corner of the Marvel Universe. This database is a collaborative effort to document all material relating to the realm of horror and how it relates to the greater Marvel Universe as a whole. As Dracula himself might say, "I bid you welcome..."
Jack Russell, in werewolf form, has been turned to stone by the mutant daughter of Miles Blackgar, Marlene. Left on display outside the re-assembled Russoff Castle that once belonged to his father, Jack is trapped, immobile and left alone with nothing but his thoughts. Channeling through the haze of being a werewolf, Jack recalls that it was his search for his father's elusive mystic tome, the Darkhold, that led him to seek out the Blackgars. As the rage of the werewolf begins to wash over him, Jack is relieved to realize that it is now morning. Transforming back into human form, also releases him from Marlene's spell and he collapses to the ground completely normal. Jack's newfound acquaintance, Buck Cowan finds him and helps him up. He asks if Jack had any luck finding the Darkhold and Jack replies, "Briefly... yep."
